Gabidulla Ospankulov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, held talks with representatives of the Spanish company Roca Group.
Roca Group is a global manufacturer of sanitary ware and a comprehensive range of bathroom solutions.
The investment project предусматривает the construction of Kazakhstan’s first facility dedicated to the production and assembly of sanitary ware and bathroom accessories.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the plant was recently held in Kyzylorda. The project is expected to attract 44.1 billion tenge in investment, with an annual production capacity of up to 500,000 units. Around 300 permanent jobs are set to be created.
The parties reviewed the current progress of the project and discussed the next stages of its implementation.
Ospankulov highlighted government support measures available to investors, including tax preferences, and emphasized the advantages of Kazakhstan’s investment environment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their intention to maintain close cooperation and continue constructive dialogue on the project’s development.
