The President was briefed on the advancements of the Astana International Financial Centre in generating innovative financial products and services, enhancing the country's investment attractiveness, and promoting cooperation with key business partners, as part of the updated AIFC development strategy.
A report was presented to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlining the measures to broaden the variety of sustainable finance instruments and the Centre's contribution to the country's objective of becoming carbon-neutral.
During the meeting, the President emphasized the important role of AIFC in establishing the infrastructure and conditions for attracting foreign investments, as well as in developing the country's economy.
Following the meeting, the President highlighted the significance of enhancing the competitiveness of the Centre, establishing favourable conditions for large-scale investments in current infrastructure projects, including the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
