The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, held a meeting with Kevin Cheok, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan–Singapore relations. They highlighted the strong level of political dialogue and a shared interest in expanding cooperation in trade, economic, and investment areas.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister underlined the considerable potential for collaboration in digitalization, innovation, and sustainable development, and expressed Kazakhstan’s readiness to further strengthen bilateral engagement.

Deputy Secretary Cheok, in turn, reaffirmed Singapore’s interest in deepening cooperation, including through joint initiatives in the green economy, logistics, and human capital development.

Special focus was also placed on enhancing business connections and fostering closer ties between the business communities of both countries.
