The VI Republican Forum of Rural Women of Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The event brought together more than 200 women entrepreneurs from all regions of the country.
In his speech, Vice Minister of National Economy Bauyrzhan Omarbekov noted that today the government is taking large-scale measures of state support necessary for the development of business, including women's entrepreneurship. Financial and non-financial measures are provided to support women entrepreneurs.
-At the end of 2022 and 10 months of this year, about 17 thousand projects of women entrepreneurs for KZT 638 billion were subsidized, about 13 thousand projects for KZT 114 billion were guaranteed. For the same period 147 thousand consultations were provided, - he informed.
There are also 20 Women's Entrepreneurship Development Centers across the country, where training and funding are available. Over 7,000 services have been provided since the Centers were established.
The One Village - One Product project is being successfully implemented in the regions. The goal is to develop and strengthen the potential of the local community and improve the welfare of rural residents. To date, the project has identified the most promising products in the regions that have market potential. In addition, the Women in Business program is in full swing.
In general, the "clean slate" regulatory policy and the new Tax Code are aimed at improving the business environment and reducing the administrative burden.
