At the Akorda Presidential Residence, Isaac Herzog was officially welcomed during his visit to Kazakhstan. The ceremony included the introduction of official delegations and the playing of the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Israel.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the long-standing friendly ties between the two countries since 1992, noting progress in economic cooperation and political dialogue. He also emphasized Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords as a step toward supporting normalization efforts in the Middle East and pointed to the strong potential for further cooperation.
In turn, Herzog described the visit as a great honor, recalling his father Chaim Herzog’s visit to Kazakhstan in 1993. He expressed admiration for the country and its culture, and stressed the importance of expanding collaboration, particularly in technology. He also welcomed Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords.
