With the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Singapore, the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) held the AIFC Connect: Singapore 2025 business event as part of the Singapore FinTech Festival and Insights Forum, organized by the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN).

The event was supported by the BIG Invest (BI Group Holding) investment platform and OD Consulting, gathering more than 150 participants, including representatives of investment and financial institutions, banks, fintech companies, insurance organizations, business associations, the diplomatic corps, and leading financial centers of Singapore.

Speakers included Askar Kuttykadam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand, Bakhtiyar Tleubekov, Chairman of the Management Board of the AIFC Authority, Diana Ablyakimova, Kazakhstan’s overseas representative of KAZAKH INVEST in Singapore, as well as representatives of the financial sectors of both countries.

Other participants included representatives of the AIFC Authority, BI Group South, Investbanq, GWM Capital Ltd., OD Consulting Ltd., and international partners such as Quest Ventures, Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), BigONE Exchange, Binance, and Phillip Capital.

During the event, participants discussed Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities, the role of the AIFC in developing the financial market and attracting foreign investment, and prospects for cooperation in fintech, digital assets, and innovative financial instruments.

Diana Ablyakimova, KAZAKH INVEST’s representative in Singapore, presented Kazakhstan’s investment potential, emphasizing the country’s competitive conditions for project implementation, including state support measures, tax incentives, and access to major markets such as the EAEU, Central Asia, and China:

“Singapore is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan in innovation and high technology. We see sustained interest from Singaporean companies in projects aimed at developing infrastructure and high-tech production. KAZAKH INVEST stands ready to provide full support to investors at all stages of project implementation,” – she noted.

At the end of the event, the parties expressed mutual interest in continuing dialogue and exploring specific areas of cooperation. Participants noted that such events contribute to strengthening business relations and creating new synergies between Kazakhstan and Singapore in the financial and investment sectors.
